Financial Assistance Grants for Undergraduate

    Grants based on financial need will be awarded to qualifying graduates of Dickenson County High Schools.  These grants will normally range from $1000 to $2,000 for the first year of study and the student may apply for renewal in subsequent years. The recipient is expected to maintain at least a 2.0, remain in good standing with the academics institution, and demonstrate a continued financial need when applying for renewal.

Financial Assistance Grants for Graduate Students

    Grants for postgraduate studies in the fields of medicine, education, and economic and social development may be awarded to academically deserving students who demonstrate a financial need.  Preference will be given to those students who plan to practice their profession in Dickenson County.  Grants for up to $7,500 may be given per academic year.
